Terms of Service
Last updated October 8, 2026
Clip Tycoon is a marketplace where Roblox game creators pay people (“clippers”) for the views their gameplay clips get. It is run by Adrian Cho (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
1. Who can use Clip Tycoon
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms on your behalf.
- To be paid you need a payout account with Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe decides who can open one, and for now it must be linked to a bank account in the United States.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t create accounts to get around a suspension or a campaign’s limits.
3. For game creators
- You set a campaign’s budget, the pay rate per 1,000 views, the most a single clip can earn, the minimum views a clip needs, and the rules clips must follow.
- You pay the budget plus a 10% platform fee up front, by card, through Stripe. The campaign goes live once the payment is confirmed.
- Your budget only pays for views on clips you approved. Reviewing submitted clips is your job, so approve only the clips that follow your rules.
- You may only run campaigns for games you own or are authorised to promote, and your campaign must follow the law and Roblox’s rules.
- By running a campaign you give clippers permission to record and post gameplay from your game for that campaign.
4. For clippers
- Only submit clips you made yourself and posted on a channel you have connected to your account.
- Follow the campaign’s rules and the rules of the platform you post on.
- Label every clip as a paid promotion, for example with #ad and the platform’s paid-promotion setting. Advertising law requires this.
- Never use bots, bought views, view-exchange schemes, misleading titles or any other trick to inflate views.
- Don’t submit clips to your own campaigns.
- You keep the rights to your clips. You allow the game creator and Clip Tycoon to watch them, link to them and count their views.
5. How views and earnings work
- View counts come from the platform where the clip is posted. Only views gained after you submit a clip count.
- An approved clip earns the campaign’s rate for every 1,000 counted views, up to the campaign’s maximum per clip, once it has reached the campaign’s minimum views, and only while the campaign has budget left.
- New earnings stay pending for 7 days. After that they are available to cash out.
- The smallest cash-out is $10.00. Payouts are sent through Stripe to your bank account.
- We may withhold or cancel earnings that come from fake views, from clips that break these terms or a campaign’s rules, or from a campaign whose payment was reversed or disputed.
- You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We or Stripe may ask you for tax information and report payments where the law requires it.
6. Refunds
- A game creator can ask us to end a campaign at any time by emailing improvproject6@gmail.com.
- We refund the part of the budget that clippers have not earned. Money already earned by approved clips is not refunded.
- The platform fee is not refunded once a campaign has gone live.
- Refunds go back to the card that paid. Card refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
7. What isn’t allowed
- Clips and campaigns that are illegal, hateful, sexual, or unsuitable for a young audience.
- Using someone else’s videos, channel, game or payment card without permission.
- Using Clip Tycoon to move money for any purpose other than paying for real views on real clips.
- Trying to break into the site, overload it, or get at other people’s accounts or data.
8. Other companies’ services
- Stripe handles every payment and payout, and its own terms apply when you pay or get paid.
- YouTube. Clip Tycoon uses YouTube API Services to read public information about videos and channels. By using Clip Tycoon you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Roblox. Clip Tycoon is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
9. Suspending and closing accounts
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and end campaigns that do.
- You can stop using Clip Tycoon whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account by emailing improvproject6@gmail.com.
10. No guarantees, and limits on what we owe
- Clip Tycoon is provided as it is. We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors, that a campaign will get views, or that a clip will earn any particular amount.
- View counts depend on other platforms, which can change or correct them.
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and the most we owe you for any claim is the larger of $100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date, and applies from then on. If you keep using Clip Tycoon after a change, you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the federal laws of the United States.
